Succop Nature Park+McConnells Mill State Park Elopement | Liv+Mike

If you're searching for a dreamy and intimate location to elope, Succop Nature Park offers the perfect backdrop. Nestled in the heart of Butler County, Pennsylvania, it offers two large ponds, serene forest area, and charming grounds near the historic mansion. Imagine exchanging your vows beneath the giant willow tree, a spot that creates a sense of peacefulness and romance.

Olivia and Mike chose to have their intimate elopement ceremony at the Succop Nature Park, under that very willow tree. Their day was full of intentional moments, from their small guest count to each of their three locations, everything was chosen with purpose. They began the day by getting ready separately, opting to see one another for the first time at their ceremony. Olivia’s elegant gown was one of timeless beauty, her transformation into a breathtaking bride reflected her inner radiance.

After sharing a first look and dance with her dad, the ceremony was upon them. Liv, with her bouquet delicately held in her hands, walked across the lawn as the sun shined brightly. Mike, waiting patiently beneath the willow tree, couldn't help but be captivated by Olivia. The ceremony was officiated by Mike’s brother in-law as a harpist played softly in the background. After the ceremony they shared a champagne toast with their families before heading off to celebrate with dinner at Kaufman Tavern.

Located in the charming town of Zelienople, Pennsylvania, the Kaufman Tavern stands as a hidden gem that captures the essence of a traditional tavern experience. Stepping through the doors of this historic space, you are immediately enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu at Kaufman Tavern showcases handcrafted cocktails and delicious dishes, carefully prepared by skilled chefs. This setting was perfect for Olivia+Mike’s dinner reception, allowing them to celebrate with their families over a delicious meal. Once dinner was finished they all enjoyed a red velvet wedding cake, made by Liv herself!

Once dinner concluded, Olivia+Mike snuck off to McConnells Mill State Park. Choosing to end their elopement day surrounded by the beauty of nature.

McConnells Mill State Park is a favorite location for us to take couples. The trails lead you through dense forests, along the Slippery Rock creek, passing several small waterfalls along the way. Imagine exchanging vows amidst ancient rock formations, as the soft rustle of leaves provides a melodic backdrop.

When we arrived Liv+Mike chose to share private vows on Cleland Rock during golden hour. This spot overlooks the vast forest below and makes for the perfect first dance or vow exchange location. We then headed down to a wooded trail that runs along the creek for portraits, soaking up the forest and its natural beauty. The day ended with their first dance, shared on a small beach on the edge of the creek. Just the two of them, hand in hand, swaying together as Green Eyes by Coldplay played softly in the background.

These two radiated genuine love and gratitude for each other and the people around them and it was so beautiful to witness and document.

The entire day was full of intentional events, curated by the two of them. Their day was truly perfect, start to finish.

Congratulations to Liv+Mike!
